SeaWorld is located in the Central Florida region, located in Orlando. While there are many theme parks in Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando is the only theme park to successfully fuse conservation education with theme park fun and excitement! SeaWorld offers the best in animal interaction – there is the Clyde and Seamore show (sea-lion and otter duo), Manatees, the chance to pet harmless stingrays, Penguin Encounter, Pets Ahoy! (cats, dogs, pot belly pigs – all rescued from animal shelters), and Wild Arctic, where visitors get close with Polar Bears, Beluga Whales, and an assortment of seals.

The biggest animal draw to SeaWorld is beyond all doubt the Shamu Adventure. A trip to SeaWorld is incomplete without watching this show! Encompassing a very deep, large pool, the giant Orca Whales and their trainers put on a very entertaining show. For those who don’t want to get wet, heed the splash-area warnings. These whales definitely know how to thoroughly soak everyone in the first fourteen or so rows of seating. Besides the Shamu Adventure, Terors of the Deep, Whale Encounter, and Marine Mammal Keeper Experience will spook, thrill, and inspire you, respectively.

SeaWorld has dived into the world of thrill rides. The flume ride Journey to Atlantis is SeaWorld’s answer to Splash Mountain, and the roller coaster Kraken is a floorless, smooth roller coaster that really packs a punch. These rides will get your adrenaline pumping!

For children, there is Shamu’s Happy Harbor. Bring an extra pair of clothes – this play area isn’t designed to keep the kiddies dry. This is one of the most extensive play areas out of any theme park, at some points elevating to four stories high!

SeaWorld is not that expensive, considering it is a very famous amusement park. SeaWorld offers great multi-day deals and multi-park deals, which are options worth exploring if you are spending more than a week in the Orlando area. There is plenty of parking, tons of dining options, and the park is easily navigated.

The world’s most popular sea life can only be found at SeaWorld Orlando. The excellent aquarium displays, dining, aquatic shows, and exhibits will completely fill your day.
